How U Feel transposes a fresh sprouting of highly strung self-worth into four melodically vivid and hard-hitting jungle tracks. Through surging synth lines, rolling bass grooves, RnB vocal sampling and chrome-plated breaks, this EP is an ode to the powers of hyper-romanticism and melancholic devotion, and inward & outward emotional availability as their guiding force.

The EP begins with “Warm Wash”, kicking off with a steady dub reggae-inspired bassline groove, breakbeat-piano euphoria and a classic vocal sample. “Sacrificial” continues the dub influence with flutters of echoed vocal harmonies and acidic, airy synthesis. The title track takes the mood into a darker territory with a slow burner of retro-futuristic synthesis, dancehall-based breakbeat riddims, and a piercing vocal hook. “B4DB1DNESS (Vocal Mix)” brings forth an anthemic amen breaks dub of Tinashe’s “None of My Business”, prompting both tears and elation in the peak time. Closing out the EP is a remix of “Sacrificial” by Kultiv, which switches up the original mix with wobbling basslines and nocturnal junglist ambience.
