'Fate Delay' is the manifestation of a dream, despite the truth of circumstances. It is an expression of reality, existential observations, and where I find my place within it all. It is a comment on our collective awareness within society, our own lives, and how we chose to react to this consciousness. What do we do with our enlightenment? How do I live with my present existence? What does it mean to allow or control one's own fate? This album poses more questions than it answers, and I believe it places the listener in a state of contention, which is ultimately what I felt as I was writing, recording, and producing it. Creating it was an exercise in moving forward in discomfort, with a sense of internal trust as a guiding force. Ultimately, fate will prevail, but on its own time and in its own inexplicable way. In succumbing to these feelings of conflict, I have realized my fate. At its broadest points, 'Fate Delay' is a musical journey asking the questions of its listener “What does it mean to allow or control one's own fate?”
