The dark balearia of ‘Emociones’ marries innerinnerlife’s warm, slowly unfurling synth pads to a yearning, autotuned Moriko vocal, swirling and swaying in the sultry riptide of the instrumental. ‘Prior’ walks a dimly lit route, white linen on a nighttime beach, inner turmoil by a romantic backdrop. Moriko’s coldly intoned vocals carry secrets and intrigue, whispering about longing and addiction over a flickering phantomscape. It haunts and hits in equal measure.
