Named after the ministrels or court musicians of the 13th century, ‹‹MINISTRIL›› is the debut release from Llum Tourdion, whose work reconstructs the sounds of folk and ancient music using electronics, sampling and acoustic recordings.
All tracks on this EP are pieces from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, which Llum Tourdion has revisited out of her affection for this music. She also draws inspiration from aesthetics such as hauntology, ambient and Kankyo Ongaku.
