Cortex Jammes - Tales of the Borderlands
A live jams collection of ritual psychedelic soundscapes that have absorbed the power, calm and silence of some Ukrainian sacred sites - Devil’s Rocks of Vinnyky forest, Ternoshory archaeo-astronomical complex, ancient cave monasteries of Bakota and Rozgirche, a lonely Buddhist temple on top of a Carpathian mountains, Trakhtemyriv peninsula etc. “The way this place makes you feel", that is, it contains a set of ambient sensations that allows you to feel the present moment of time in this place more deeply. Although it is impossible to explain in words, it is much easier to feel and hear.
The mood of the music is a warm, captivating darkness in which otherworldly and abstract sound objects move, greeting either the works of Rapoon or Rod Modell, or the 90’s ambient rave improvised jams of Ambient Temple of Imagination.
