There it is, my whole heart: Some Somehow Known Unknown is officially out.
This album is what I felt is my best and most thoughtful work I could achieve at this point in time. It explores those intrinsic mysteries within life that feel both familiar and yet inscrutable: love, death, anxiety, God, evil, one’s sense of purpose, righteousness, truth, joy, the search for “self,” and the denial of the very same. I crammed all of myself into this, just a stupid amount of effort and love and confusion and pain, and I can only hope some of that immense feeling translates when listened to.
Thanks to all those who’ve been supportive in the meantime. Special thanks to @givingdirt for the artwork of the five EPs leading up to this full release. Thanks to Pierce Adler and Fraser Jones for being my artistic barometers. And thanks to Becca High for being my ears, motivation, and guiding light whenever I too frequently become lost.
