Sider7’s debut EP, [Seven Star], is a nocturnal odyssey where light and darkness coexist. The album traces the journey of a subject drifting through shadowy clubs, liminal spaces, and supernatural realms. Along the way, it grapples with questions of identity, spirituality, and fate—mapping symbolic and physical terrains of the city while staging moments of both clarity and ambiguity.

The recurring 'Seven Star' motif operates as a kind of navigational coordinate within a chaotic, threshold-bound space—an entity that offers both protection and recognition. Throughout the record, a tension emerges between the drive towards light and the fear of being consumed by darkness—an affective dynamic that ultimately gestures toward the anxieties of the modern subject.

[Seven Star] features contributions from CHiCHiKAFO, a standout figure in the Seoul underground scene who recently released their EP CHiCHiKAFO, as well as DJ and artist nofear, who co-runs After Death Deluxe with Sider7. Mixing and mastering was done by electronic musician Guinneisik, whose work was nominated for Best Electronic Song at the 2024 Korean Music Awards—bringing a refined sonic coherence to the project.
