Live in Manhattan 2026 documents the Baroque Magazines live set developed throughout 2025. On the occasion of this recording in February 2026 Baroque Magazines was carried out as a solo operation with Raphael Hunt at the helm, though Darius Shaoul would frequently contribute in a live capacity around this time. The set-list for this particular engagement featured all original tracks including the crowd favorites: Tied Up In Psyko Dubs, Lust Candle, and My Place.
From fall 2024 to spring 2026 Baroque Magazines served an unofficial residency at Night Club 101 (formerly The Pyramid Club), performing with such acts as DJ Python, Coldsteel, Perico Odyssey, Tuffa Rankin, and Dopeboi AMG, amongst others. Quickly, these events earned a reputation for their indiscriminate musical eclecticism and outré ambience, inviting a who's-who of New York's social elite. Overtime, Baroque Magazines would inadvertently cultivate an atmosphere of blunt gossip, wanton behavior and inebriated elegance around themselves. Nevertheless, word spreading through the gawking mouths of fine art and fashion insiders has been pivotal in establishing Baroque Magazines's status as "one-to-watch" in the underground electronic dance music scene. However, Baroque Magazines staunchly maintains that it's music is for weird girls, terror boys and amputees.
Continuing forward, Baroque Magazines will focus on releasing the back log of productions that have thus far only been presented live. At the same time Baroque Magazines works tirelessly on the dispatch of more ambitious recorded works, being the: Out In The Open EP, and the Spring Psychosis album. If all goes to plan the rest of 2026 will see a more steady dissemination of Baroque Magazines digital singles, the deployment of limited edition Baroque Magazines collectors objects, and a reorientation of the Baroque Magazines live show in a more free form, blissed out, confrontational direction that is sure to appeal to equally obtuse and cosmopolitan sensibilities.
