In addition to the title, I would also call this song a "tornado of samples." This is my first song where I experimented with both default samples from the Ableton Live bank and my own sound recordings, which I recorded using a Zoom H6 in my room at home. I used two samples from Ableton Live's default samples—specifically, as you can probably hear, the sample named "AMP BMIN," which is in a small room reverb, and I used a slow drum & bass sample. However, I recorded the rest of the sounds myself. I'm a little sorry that the main part of the melody is the Amp Bmin sample, but I made the song a year ago and couldn't find the folder with the .als files. Anyway, the other sounds I used are more interesting. For example, I use the famous French toy "Vilac Boo-Can" in the song (which is why there are cow elements on the cover). I also created a significant part of the melody and beat by drawing random lines into MIDI with a marker, which I then ran through many filters, resulting in a rather interesting "melody" reminiscent of the song "Ghosts" by Susumu Hirasawa. Other sounds, such as words, are descriptions in the lyrics, and the mellow passage in the song was improvised, similar to the whole song. You could say that the song E X P E R I M E N T was created as a speedrun, when I was curious to see how long it would take me to make a "weird interesting song" - in the end, it took me 5 hours. I hope you enjoyed this experiment xd and leave a comment :))
The cover art was created by King Magmor. The entire cover is hand-drawn and shaded on watercolor paper using black microfix. The cover depicts elements of sound using "fragments" from the song, which are combined to form a kind of face. There are elements of cows (eyebrows in the shape of a cow, udders on the chin, tubes through which milk flows + nostrils). On the right side, there is also the mascot of my music profile, hiding behind a tube that leads to one eye of the aforementioned face. This eye also has elements of a children's toy that makes a cow mooing sound. My name is also written several times in different variations in the picture. The third eye symbolizes a gramophone, under which is a screen with a cow pictogram. There are also words such as "SAMPLES," "DRAW," "COWS," and the phrase "NOT~LO-FI!" at the edge of the mouth. Then, of course, the main title of the song is in teeth with cavities (EXPERIMENT). The only thing that has no meaning here is the second eyebrow in the shape of a fish-like monster and the crown of this experimental individual.
