Album Title: Fixed: Or, Improvisation for the Perpetuation of Habit

This recording is documentation from one of two performances taken place during Fixed: Or, the Perpetuation of Habit, an exhibition spanning from May 3rd-4th 2016. Featuring artists Lauren Bailey, Michael Gelinas, Julian Restrepo, & Samantha Rodriguez at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

The artwork & design for this tape release was created by Michael Gelinas based on interpretations of works by Lauren Bailey & Samantha Rodriguez that were featured in the show with collage contributions from Julian Restrepo.

"Michael Gelinas, Samantha Rodriguez, Lauren Bailey and Julian Restrepo take on the concepts of anxiety, tension and obsession in this two night show.

Featuring an improvisational performance by Michael Gelinas and Julian Restrepo at 7PM each night.

Beyond camaraderie and similar artistic concern, this show is connected through the groups collective desire to critique work, and have their work critiqued by peers. The participants of this show have come together to form a group of serious art discussion, and are celebrating their conversations with a semester-end show."
