To celebrate a year of Peter Matson’s debut album ‘Hotel PM’, The Phenomenal Handclap Band took it upon themselves to deliver this stellar disco version of ‘Alien’. This extended version brings individual elements to the fore: Domenica’s vocals are reduced and repeated, lyrical moments emphasized, Sly5thAve’s string arrangement is brilliantly dissected and highlighted, and the groove given a left-field bounce that locks you in for the whole side.
