Well, they say you can remix anything these days; for me, that's a six second melody from one of the most popular games of all time. To be fair, I sort of consider this my own track rather than a remix as practically the entirety of it (the structure, sound, chords) is from me, with that melody being the glue holding that Wii Sports essence together. Since that was the game I was making a remix for, of course I sampled some of their stems (mainly to get that ethereal space feeling down) as well as sampling from the Wii Shop Channel theme (of all places) for the drums and percussion. Probably my favourite aspect of the track is the theming; it feels otherworldly in design, yet slight and cute in execution. Plus with the second 'chorus' (not sure what to call it lol) I made sure it went hard before calming down for the conclusion; how it slowly builds up from a soothing feel, to a bombastic climax, to a bittersweet conclusion. This remix I have had completed for about a month now, but factors such as my holiday and college work has limited my time adding the finishing touches, so I'm glad for it to release now. The theming here is something I plan to expand upon for future releases, so I guess you could say this is the pre-curser. Also, I have one more track lined up for the end of the year that gets a bit creative, so I hope y'all are excited for that.
