We are extremely excited to announce the release of a new 4-track EP from Manchester based producer boitjie_. "It is something we make!" is the second instalment of solo projects earthed from this label.
A sharp, sweet-talking pop spark that kicks off this dynamic EP with flair. Dang breathes new life into the ‘Pop Edit’ genre, blending playful charm with bold, explosive electronic power. It encapsulates the heart of the original while becoming something completely its own.
Burn your legs shows how inspiration comes from the most unexpected moments. In this case, a track born shortly after putting out a pan fire. It’s the risk that binds us together, fuelled with your favourite songs mashed up in granular synths. What emerges is a gentle, drifting halftime experience, moving far from the chaos that created it.
Bronx dream projects a silken, unearthly glow. Poignantly beating with calming vocal chops and heartfelt orchestral breakdown swells, anchored by a direct swinging bass. It pierces hard, yet remains soft to the touch.
Carolyn’s Fingers carries the steady emotional pulse that has shaped the EP so far. Wandering through the sky on a quiet path among celestial beings. Just like Dang, this track pays strong homage to the Cocteau Twins’ original, while setting out on its own journey.
