Thanks to a mother who worked for the UN, the South London artist Moses Ideka spent his childhood roving around the world. “So Wrong,” his newest single, has a bit of that rootlessness: It lacks drums, instead floating along guided by synth pads and arpeggios. Call it ambient R&B. It’s intimate and almost mystical in its lyrical content. Clearly, the young artist has a wellspring of inspirations to pull from; so far, he has only released singles and EPs, but this music seems like it would work well on a longer-form project. We’ll keep an ear out.
