There isn’t that much information online about the London duo spirit blue. The band has a nice, controlled aesthetic—a lot of white and ripply ASCII-ish art that points, in its own oblique way, to an older, objectively better time on the internet. Other than that, the music can do the talking. “language,” their new single, is a jangling, cloudy rock ballad that will have all of the die-hard cloud rockers out there lifting their horns to the sky like they are hanging out in the heavy metal parking lot. Moody keys cut in on the outro, an open question if there ever was one.
