'Sputnik 1' is a concept album that presents a fictional transmission from the first satellite launched in 1957, imagined as having developed an accidental AI while drifting among orbital debris. Absorbing fragments of signals from Earth, it collages them into new soundscapes as it reaches back across space. A lonely, purpose searching message transformed into music. (No AI was used in the making of the album)
