Ooff! It all started when I went to Prague 8 on August 15, 2025, to buy craft beer, specifically 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐓. Stout, Porter, Gose, Sour Beers, Sauna Session IPA, and even the so-called "Prapivo" are among my favorite types of beer. So, on the advice of the salesperson,
I bought one 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐓 (type: Imperial Stout) and headed home.
When I got home, I opened this delicious beer after about six hours, which was 3:56 in the morning. At that time, I was watching the final episode of the series Dexter, and in the background, I was playing with the sounds in my beloved music program ♫. While watching, I started drinking and slowly but surely got drunk, because when it comes to drinking, one strong beer is enough to knock me out, as we linguists say (11.7 %). While drinking, I took out my recorder and started recording the next 6 minutes, during which I said various random things.
Just imagine it. You're sitting drunk in a gaming chair at 4:00 a.m., watching Dexter, drinking Imperial Stout, and recording it all on a Zoom H6. On top of that, I mixed and edited all the sounds right away. So, the final track is a pitched, resonated, and reverb recording with the sound of a Czech-dubbed TV series in the background and a strange, crazy, almost bizarrely repetitive beat. The next day, when I came to my senses (after a beer, I might add), I listened to the whole song and still don't know what made me record it and turn it into a "serious" song...
Anyway, today, August 30, at 7:24 a.m., I finished drawing the cover and wrote this text. I left the cover in the reddish to dark brown color of the Stout I drank at the time + the monster on the cover, "Beer Spirit," is a creature I invented that anyone who gets drunk on one beer, specifically Stout beer, of course, turns into.
