Two key artists from the global club music underworld, Air Max ‘97 and AYA (formally known as LOFT) join forces as A2A.
Following landmark releases for both in the last year (AYA’s ‘and departt from mono games’ EP on Tri Angle and Air Max’s ‘Ice Bridge’ on Timedance), A2A¹ finds both artists bringing their – ahem – A game across three tracks, welding together rapid breakbeats, amorphous synthwork and the kind of virtuoso production chops (not to mention in one memorable case, crowd noise) that both artists have made their trademark.
