‘Unordinary’, the second single from the upcoming album ‘Content Creatures’, deals with cultural pessimism and alienation. As in the album title, the musician plays with the question of how musicians today navigate between art and content, supplying material in the hamster wheel of commercial logic and being shaped by it, ‘Where the love's been’. It remains unclear whether Helmut means love for the music or for a specific person. The song does not end with a grand gesture, but with a sobering secret: ‘don't tell me / I won't tell you / we're ordinary’.
