The final single “dream/sweet II.” from Yaz Lancaster's 'AFTER' is out on Bandcamp and Nina Protocol today!
“dream/sweet” is a four-part suite stretched across the album. Each movement is a deconstruction and recollection of memories: a song, a conversation, a period of time, a moment.
In this second movement, Yaz runs a familiar and sentimental vinyl recording, gentle vocals, textural field recordings, and noisy feedback loops into a blender – and pieces them all back together again.
'AFTER' is out everywhere next week on 11/7 on PTP!
