While his sound palette is inspired by sounds from across the globe, his mindset, approach, and ethos are primarily indebted to the artistic history of Philadelphia and the surrounding mid-Atlantic region, with additional influence coming from Detroit and artists from the midwest. Combining influences from the rap and dance music worlds to form the basis of his sound, “posted in the back of the club, pt. 2” is a showcase of these inspirations combined with reference points from his previous work as Gohda.
