The Marionette and the Music Box is Unwed Sailor’s second full length album, released April 22, 2003. The concept album is based off of the musical album, Peter and the Wolf, where the instruments on the album are assigned to the characters in the story, and the music and melodies are the voices of the characters. The album tells the story of a Marionette who, after hearing tales of a beautiful Music Box, goes on a journey to find the Music Box, and through the journey, finds his true love despite various distractions and pitfalls.
