Root Angel: Reissue
Released nine years ago, this album captured a moment of intense individuation - an attempt to resolve the conflict of polarities through creative alchemy: the conscious and the unconscious, Pagan roots and Christian mysticism, primordial Chaos and divine Structure.
This internal process was mirrored in the transformation of the Infinity Base Cross (a new facet of the alchemical Sulfur). The music and art became a 'sigil,' a vessel wherein these contradictions were transmuted into unity.
The album marked the activation of a 9-year cycle, rich in metamorphosis and research. This period resonates with the astrological Lunar Node half-return - a karmic checkpoint for recalibrating one's path. The reissue symbolizes the completion of the old program and the beginning of a new spiral.
The David Lynch aesthetic in the reissue teaser is a tribute to profound synchronicity. It was his work that originally served as the catalyst, opening the portal to the unconscious following the experience of Twin Peaks Season 2, Episode 22. The circle closed with the appearance of a White Owl in my dream one week before the Master’s passing. Now, these guides between worlds accompany me throughout this year, confirming that the time of transition has truly arrived.
