Decollare verso il mare is an EP consisting of three tracks written and recorded in September 2021 by Dav Cappai, a Sardinian drummer based in Pisa, and Aleksandr Chiesa, an Italian-Russian guitarist and producer based in Moscow.
The project began in Italy and was meant to be completed in Russia, but it was suspended for two years due to the war, which halted its studio completion.
These unfinished drafts have over time become a testament to a historical event that still affects our lives today — personal, artistic, and political.
