While recording in a Brussels attic (summer 2024, heat in the beams, dust in the air) Poppy got stung by a ballad-mosquito. She made something that felt like it was missing Nyko's fuzz, so she rang him. Their shared love for PJ and Kurt led them to record this…thing… A song, that stumbles forward, dragging, climbing toward a dissonant peak where digital salvation fails and fizzles out. Curious about the noise overhead, Simon hauled himself upstairs, injecting an acoustic conclusion, just as the power was about to be cut. What’s left is a small, honest, scrappy, high-voltage tape collage, demanding a gentle nod and a good hair-wiggle.
