MONOLOGUE is the debut EP by South African alternative artist, Bahbahroo (b.2001, Mike-Junior Sinesipho Adedayo Ngudle-Adewole).

Across five tracks, Bahbahroo evolves their uncanny knack for crafting homespun indie pop & alt-rock miniatures into something of their own.

‘MONOLOGUE’ explores the gripping sentimentalities in dealing with the complex nature of modern existence, love, identity and Black life.

It’s in its brevity, and the seemingly-simple layering of sampled drum breaks, tinted guitar noodles, and synth explorations that Ngudle can so neatly capture the world, and their ever-changing place in it. All  before the reality of it hits you again.
