Drift 6 is the latest in the Drift album series, that are ambient albums created to help rest, relax, and inspire. Drift 4 was created with bio midi sonification produced from plants, which resulted in the plants writing the album.

Drift 6 evolves that concept and is written completely with bio midi sonification from loved ones in my life. Friends and family had diodes strapped to their arms and that data was translated to midi notes.

This album is a love letter to important people in my life in a digital form that could last beyond their lifetimes.

I have worked on this album on and off for around 3 years, polishing up notes I did not write and trying to make it as musical as possible.
