The title [i++] is borrowed from the programming increment operator. To me, it symbolizes the "next version of myself" a constant push for growth. I produced all 12 tracks while serving 34 months of mandatory alternative military service as an IT engineer. This album, completed after my discharge last year, is a sonic record of my struggles and growth during that period.
My music navigates the intersection between the longing for an ideal world and the nostalgia for things left behind. I envisioned a "faint but existing miraculous sea" a world that is somewhat broken but beautiful, much like something a child might imagine. I composed these songs while dreaming of the moment one reaches that sea and encounters everything they had to leave behind.
The sound, a blend of Alternative Rock and Indietronica, serves as the soundtrack for this journey. The cross-shaped ceramic object on the album cover represents a buoy or a lighthouse in the middle of a vast ocean, guiding the way.
