So about a month ago, I asked AIVØ if I could produce a remix of his track "Wild Ones" (after falling in love with it upon finding it in my Release Radar); it was the first time I was able to create a remix for a professional track, and despite not being able to get an official release, I'm proud to release it nonetheless. The production is a massive jump in quality compared in my music production, and I wanted this to be more EDM-inspired than my previous work. So I went in the direction of Deep Trance (yes, I'm wearing my inspirations of Nils Hoffman and Tinlicker on my sleeves lol). For a first go around in this sub-genre, I'm impressed with what I came up with; it still feels like it's a part of my musical identity (primarily with the ethereal pads and lead), but also has a wider appeal thanks to the improved sound design and consistent structure. I'd like to thank AIVØ for letting me remix Wild Ones, and I'd highly recommend y'all go listen to the original (it's a great progressive house banger). This style I kinda like as with other experimentations with EDM sub-genres (mostly progressive house), it never felt like my own work; perhaps I might continue with this in the future (hmmm).
