elf disk's softcore philosophy is a ten part collection of songs about all the classic stuff like love, magic, war and voyeurism. its about everything wrong in your life and what it would be like if it was so much worse. it would still just be okay. even if you were missing a limb or your face was disfigured or the last train out of your dying ghost town left without you on it. you could try following the now abandoned train tracks for hundreds of miles but who would be there at the end to hug you? no one would be there to say "hello, i missed you" to. you’re just a pack mule, not a war horse. not the type of animal that they make movies about... like the movie "War Horse". if you were a horse they'd shoot you for the things wrong with you anyways. bummer.
