Listen, ya boi Mandazi just went thrift shopping for the first time, and I gotta say I'm impressed. Basically I've been overpaying for clothes my whole fucking life. It's not like I never knew about thrifting, I just never gave it a go since I didn't really know where to start. Also, I'm not really the biggest fan of shuffling thru clothes while fat people try to squeeze by in the tight ass lanes, but I had a chance to get the experience yesterday so I went for it.

Since I'm currently still in my unemployed era, I decided to take a trip to Boston for a Coca Cola job event at the Goodwill Career Center. After 45 minutes on a 12 mile drive, I got there and signed up for a "Job Seeker ID" since I guess it was required. It was me and three other people, with a rep from CC describing all the different opportunities within their company. It was cool, but in reality I wasn't interested in anything but the pay rates.

Once it was over, I said "fuck it" and just went in to the building next door with all the clothes. At first I didn't even grab a cart, I just looked around to see if there was anything I liked. After I saw a couple things, I decided to fully invest my time and browse more thoroughly. With the isles color coordinated, it was actually a better shopping experience than regular stores like TJ Maxx, or Marshalls.

Of course, fat people were tryna squeeze by, and there was some musty ass dude that put on a long sleeve shirt from the rack and threw his jacket back on right in front of me. Honestly I was impressed by how slick the maneuver was. Although I thought he was looking around too much, the end result seemed to be in his favor.

In the end, I left with three sweaters, seven shirts, and the bag I bought for the clothes, just $27.71! Fifteen percent off was being offered for students, so I showed them my 5 year old student ID from UMass Lowell. I only spent a semester there too, so I guess I ended up finessing just like the smelly guy. Keep in mind the shirts are for regular wear, but the sweaters just upped my drip for some music vids😁
