Spring’s Fury is a singular elaboration of the cracks between ambient, noise, experimental club music, with metal and trap influences.
The three tracks unfold through different constellations of vocal techniques and processing such as glossolalias, screaming and autotune. They compose a sonic landscape shared with harmonies imprinted on gut-driven-timbres and hard-hitting impacts.
The result is a telluric sonic world in which digital and organic textures coexist, while sharing the tendency to abrupt together between extreme peaks and releases.
Spring’s Fury embraces slowness while committing to intensity. Its groundish and earthy quality almost paradoxically means to reach the most vehement state.
The work sonically explores affects such as grief as a momentum to affirm a more lively and present way of living.
The rawest, lively, and delicate strength of spring comes as well with its harshest cruelty: the one of things coming to their end(s).
