Bnny — the Chicago quintet fronted by visual artist and designer Jessica Viscius — releases One Million and Three Love Songs, a deluxe edition of their“ nuanced, gorgeous and life-affirming” (Paste) sophomore LP. Lifted from the cutting room floor of One Million Love Songs, “Love Trap” offers a glimpse at a new shade of Bnny: supercharged, distorted, growing from filtered whispers into the loudest track across their discography. In addition, Bnny joins forces with Fire Talk Records labelmate Wild Pink for “Good Stuff - Edit,” an epic reimagination of OMLS’ standout single. Both Bnny and Wild Pink are known for writing music with hearts adorned on their sleeves, and “Good Stuff - Edit” feels like a natural extension of each artist’s full-length outing from last year. Sparse and evocative, “By My Side” presents a tender cut from the sessions of One Million Love Songs, and continues to prove that Bnny “masters melancholy” (Pitchfork).
