Newbie is a 4-track EP which offers an original and atypical vision of club music.
There we find dark atmospheres, cold digital sequences and aggressive white noise against a backdrop of club drum machines.
Tracklist :
1. Hauptstraße : dark pads, rhythms & bass enhanced by broken piano notes create a sort of mix between EBM and ambient, all in a complex and confused atmosphere. Haupstraße is the perfect opening track for the EP, diving right into the artist's universe.
2. Moving Backwards : acid synths galore, whose next note you can't expect, a raging break beat, invasive bass and almost mystical but stammering vocals. On Moving Backwards you can almost hear the cacophony of an over-thinker's soul.
3. Club Forest : a liminal space, the artist seeking to recreate the floating mood of the club experience & the indecision between two states, which he transposes through this trancy track with a driving rhythm and acid notes, minimal percussion and a good dose of randomness.
4. Newbie : concluding the EP on a softer but equally intense note, with ultra-expressive synths, soulful melodies, plenty of percussion and white noise and a driving trance bass, Newbie reaches a state of acceptance and places both artist and listener in a fresher world where they can finally rebuild.
