Electronic musician and pop ambient pioneer Markus Guentner was listening to Karen Vogt's track cloud forty-three precisely at the same time as the church bells in his home town of Regensburg (Germany) were ringing. It was 9pm, or 21h in Europe. Guentner commented on how well the two sounds work together and Vogt agreed that he should do a remix using her original vocal loop track and the bell sound. Guentner recorded the bell ringing the next evening and then proceeded to mix the two together. This is simply how this remix came to be.
