Spooky, sweet and lofi, perhaps reminiscent of early 4AD releases, Cuckoo Spit is an eponymous debut EP . The songs were written, recorded and mixed intuitively by Lottie Morton between 2018-2020 on Garageband, mostly in her childhood home in North Yorkshire. The lyrics are infused with pastoral imagery and metaphor inspired by her surroundings and deal with personal themes such as limerence, alienation and suspicion.
