Darkside R&B influenced electronic pop tracks with a superb grip on sound design. Out of the dark shadows of deep forest emerges, "BRASSE"; sung in French, gently auto-tuned toward the twilight sky and supplimented with sweeping cellos and waves of synthesis it's mournful, melancholy, beautiful and epic in abundance.
"Focus", with its echo-laden keyboard motif, crushed beats and more unusual, exotic vox; is another homage to midnight skies and rich emotion. A call-response arrangement guides the vocals while musically it reimagines Portishead through a noir / gothic downbeat prism.
