this started as a companion piece to the Operant LP I released a few months ago, but ended up taking on a deeper meaning / form for me as I was editing. the record was assembled piecemeal from improvised recording sessions throughout the year, with samples sourced from FM radio broadcast and run thru the modular synth rig. it feels reflective of a change in how I approach art practice. this one is dedicated to san diego, late night costal drives, solitude, snowfall in olympia, the modular synth lab at evergreen state college, and my incredible wife
