Donna Candy return in full force with a double single to tide us over before their next album.
Drawing inspiration from the new gen of hardcore, Blinking Twice is short, abrasive and carved from saturation - a mechanism of raw tension where breakdowns explode and shatter. Nadi's voice swings between bouncy clear rhythms to sharp monster distortion, entwining with Js' huge basslines and merging with the metallic bells of Sila's tight drum intuition.
On the flip side, Warp Bend Twist dives into 'poison rock' - atmospheric and spectral. A shifting terrain, more organic, where the trio dissolve and stretch into chiaroscuro space. Introspective and emotional, it gives the sensation of a solitary night time walk accompanied by friendly shadows.
This is Donna Candy in macro mode: two-toned metal and a side fringe.
