Originally released one song at a time, every two or three days, from July 26 to August 11, 2022.
Songs about walking around, springtime, summertime, a hometown park, books, wisteria, the early evening hours, getting lost, getting tired, getting on the wrong bus, fictional stories, true stories, and a handful of small, good things.
Recorded mostly March to May 2021, with some final changes January 2022. All recording and mixing done at home in Berkeley, except for the field recordings in "Summer Shadow," which were made on the Santa Rosa streets where the song's events take place.
