Based in Croatia, FrenkyBoy approaches UK-rooted genres from a non-UK perspective, drawing influence from jungle, drum & bass, and garage while maintaining his own regional identity. With a background in classical piano and ongoing involvement in underground radio culture through his @bubanjibassradio show, his productions balance musical structure with functional dancefloor intent.

Solaris features three original tracks and one remix. Two of the originals explore a 160 BPM break-driven jungle sound, blending melodic tension with rolling percussion and deep low-end pressure. The third track shifts into UK garage-influenced territory, offering a tighter groove and rhythmic contrast while maintaining the EP’s cohesive atmosphere.

The release closes with a 4×4, peak-time vocal remix by Maria Zue, the Bogotá-based DJ, producer, and vocalist affiliated with the @womandbass collective. Her reinterpretation pushes the energy forward with added drive and sound system weight, incorporating original vocal elements that bring an additional expressive layer to the project.
