Whereas my previous album “A Living Poem” was made during a period of depression and stress i went through in October-November, this new album “Damage Details” was made in a more bittersweet time. I would call this album my happiest yet, but in the actual time period most of it was produced I was only just starting to get out of this depression; so i was still sort of in between being content and miserable.
With that out of the way, this is probably my favorite album i’ve made up to this point (besides GRID 193). This is a more experimental and electronic evolution of the soundscape i made A Living Poem. What is described as a dusty old desaturated sound, is now a high tech brightly colored sound. A handful of the albums i listened to during the time i made this were Electronic and House music (and of course Hip Hop). So i decided to incorporate more electronic stuff into my sound i’ve been going for lately.
