This song "tells" a rather humorous story - which took place on August 8, 2025, at midnight. Specifically, I was traveling from a Czech village called "Vraná nad Vltavou" back home to Prague. I left at around 10 p.m., and the conductor on the train assured me that this train was indeed going to Prague Main Station. I spent the whole journey looking out of the window and chatting with a friend. After about 60 minutes, when the train STILL hadn't stopped or passed through the Main Station, I began to have doubts. No one checked my ticket the entire time, and the train was completely empty. At that moment, I was passing through the village of "Zahořany," and I started to worry whether I was even going in the right direction (plus, I hadn't passed through these stations on the way there). I quickly got up and went to find the ticket inspector, but the whole train was completely empty, there was only one boy about the same age as me... He told me that this train doesn't go to Prague at all! At that moment, I was quite shocked and got off at the next stop. Specifically, at the "Malá Hraštice" stop, where I unfortunately found out that it was true and that the next train or bus wouldn't leave until 4:00 a.m.! I didn't want to wait that long, so I paid for an overpriced taxi. I waited for about an hour under a street lamp and next to some trash cans with textiles until the taxi arrived. During this long wait, I recorded the sounds of the dark nighttime nature there: the chirping of crickets, the barking of dogs from nearby villages. The sound of a pub not far from the abandoned train station where I was spending my time. I also tried to record some "goofy" beats and random lyrics that just came to mind as I looked out over the dark fields and silent, unfamiliar villages where I had suddenly found myself. I made a total of 10 primitive recordings (Ayo, Beat, Breath, Creaks, End, Pub, Spit, Ssmoon, Uuaa & Stationsadness) and then mixed them into this song at home that same day. I then used a photo of the place where I spent this strange moment of my life as the cover. I finally arrived home at 1:00 a.m. and finished this song at 4:00 a.m. (I had dinner in between, so I ended up working on this song for about an hour and a half). Finally, I would also like to mention the number 262 03 (the numerical address of the stop where I was waiting) and the number 116 (the train route). I hope you enjoy listening to it, and thank you for reading this far ❤
