"In Sheltered Places" is a guitar and vocal-based experimental piece that I recorded in 2020 in a live, improvised session. I was trying to come up with a longer piece, but ended up taking these little detours on the way in order to get there, and eventually make the track "Almost Nowhere (Further)" that appears on the previous release in this series. However, on listening back I feel like these pieces fit together as a release. Vocals feature throughout the tracks and you can hear how I am slowly introducing vocals into the first track with some looped vocals and go into to play with some different vocals ideas.
