infinite playdate was written and/or recorded every monday from december 2024 - february 2025. it was conceived while harmony was engineering an ep for isadora’s band kisspink and isadora wrote a song about something that happened. most of the songs were recorded on isadora’s new yamaha mt8x and harmony’s favorite tascam 414. also there was a tascam 424 on loan from kayde that broke immediately after we recorded one song on it. all of the songs were written by harmony and/or isadora except for the beatles and bob dylan songs they covered. harmony and isadora were not really friends when this began and they are not really friends now. they are conducting extensive research to figure out what they are, which is difficult as they are very bad at talking to one another. this is why they primarily communicate through song. this record was mostly made in izzy’s bedroom at panopticon, a local house venue which she recently stepped down from ever doing anything for ever again. other things that izzy has done during the making of this record include joining harmony’s live band on bass guitar. harmony has also joined izzy’s live band on drums.
