I created Vertigo while staying at an old, storm-battered house in Newfoundland one summer. I had left the city to immerse myself in a different creative atmosphere and the punishing winds and constant blankets of rain I encountered out there, helped create an almost oppressive approach to writing an "ambient" song. I named it Vertigo after going through a bout of Vertigo myself after spending a night mixing the swirling synths in the track.
