From Cholula, Mexico, comes Kotanna with “Pájaro Doble”, an album that sounds as if time itself had melted onto tape. Seven pieces oscillate between chance and intention, built from loops, synths, and analog processing that pulse with an unmistakable lo-fi warmth.
Kotanna is part of a new wave of Latin American producers pushing ambient and abstract soundscapes from the South—blending technical precision and handmade craft with tenderness and unguarded emotion.
“Pájaro Doble” is a flight with two wings—a dialogue between light and shadow, calm and noise, the intimate and the cosmic—unfolding as an act of pure presence. Here, sound bends, cracks, and reunites: chaos becomes illuminated.
Another Tesorito gem.
