KUMOKO, a spirit of the sky and creator of ethereal cloud formations, descended to earth motivated by her curiosity of humans and their artistic creations. Flying over the planet, she was drawn to the bohemian energy of the West Coast, where she discovered the earth-shaking sounds of beatmaker and rapper XL Middleton. Instantly inspired by KUMOKO’s magical aura, XL produced two tracks for the heavenly sprite which became a celestial concoction of his signature synth funk and her dreamy vocals. “Moonlight Magic” features XL’s upbeat West Coast funk and signature raps fused with KUMOKO’s mystical melodies where she sings about mystical lunar energy.
