LA//RS is an artist, composer & producer, originally from Norway, currently based in the US. With a long career making music for TV, theatre, artists and radio, LA//RS has cultivated a unique and diverse musical interpretation, not limited to any genre.
Drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of moods & ideas to include in his electronic landscapes, his current output reflects his diverse influences over many years. After years of producing material tightly connected to scripts and briefs, he decided to focus on creating music that was free from any preconceived notions or expectations.
His music is characterized by its driving rhythms, lush soundscapes, emotive melodies and blended genres. Always looking for new ways to express himself through his art, his music is ever evolving.
4x1 is the first of four EP's selected from his archive of music made throughout the last few years, curated together with the Henrik Richter Schie, the owner of the label. So watch this space, there is a lot more to come!
