Emerging as a clear symbol in a daydream at night, Laomo Sik is a shadow self, an awareness which navigates through a multitude of galaxies. Laomo Sik is a vessel that travels on the sound waves of bright sun or dark vastness on a mission to explore and reveal.

Laomo Sik's 3rd EP “Mekanikl Animals” is a venture into exactly these territories of unexplored dream states, where logic, rationality and organized time are merely ideas swimming near you under the blinking flashing stars, as would the white dolphins, carefully watching from behind in a cosmic black sea.

Laomo Sik is a musical project that centers around ambient soundscapes, drone fields and other abstractions. Through intuitive and momentary interactions with a selection of analog studio equipment, found instruments and the like, Mathias allows for the immediacy of creation and creativity in his compositions as Laomo Sik. Gathering momentum over time and honoring the movements and flow of life is an integral part of relating to the compositional process. Both dreams and waking states are continuous sources of inspiration for expressions.
